Jack at 17: Pebble Beach 6/18/72

Palm Beach County resident Jack Nicklaus hit one of the most famous golf shots ever in 1972 at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. As the Golden Bear faced strong winds from the Pacific Ocean, he hit a 1 iron off the flagstick and easily tapped in for birdie. It gave him a three shot lead going into 18 and helped secure his third U.S. Open victory.

The artist tells that story inside the unmistakable format of a Polaroid instant photo, capturing the moment in time and making note of the occasion. The painting was unveiled on the 50th anniversary of that shot.

Note: Gallery-wrapped canvas is only available in the 24x24 and 30x30 print sizes. Due to the nature of stretching canvas, the artwork may slightly wrap over the sides.

Framed paper comes with a silver frame. Framed canvas comes with a gold float frame.
