Cortés "Burn the Boats"

When Hernán Cortés landed on the shores of Veracruz (current day Mexico) in 1519, he ordered his men to burn their boats in order to defeat the Aztecs, removing the possibility of retreat. It was a bold, irreversible decision that echoed a profound truth: when you commit fully to your path, there is no turning back.

Note: Gallery-wrapped canvas is only available in the 12x24 print size. Due to the nature of stretching canvas, the artwork may slightly wrap over the sides.

Unframed paper will require a custom mat to properly display the artwork. Please see the Custom Mat section below for more information.

Framed paper comes with a black frame. Framed canvas comes with a black float frame.
